Lidija is the creative force and managing director behind Wheely Pop. Even as a young girl, she had a great interest in anything that rolled. When her mother came home one day with a BMX bike, that was it for her – her love for cycling was ignited.

After a few years and a career dead end, she started racing bikes – and even cycled all the way to Italy. She eventually wanted to turn this passion into a profession and applied to Veloblitz as a bike courier.

Over time, her interest in bicycle mechanics and tinkering with her own bike grew. To deepen her technical skills, she specifically sought a position that welcomed career changers and offered insights into bicycle mechanics. Lidija found a job in a bicycle shop – and there, one day, the crucial question arose:

"Is there actually a children's bike shop in Zurich?"

The answer was: No.

Together with Christina, she then decided to change that – and so Wheely Pop GmbH was founded in 2021: the first children's bicycle shop in Zurich and even in all of Switzerland.
