Wheely Workshops

In the Wheely Workshops, you will learn the basics of bicycle adjustment and repair. From brake checks to properly adjusting a child's bike, participants learn the most important practical skills. There are also courses for adults. The basic repair courses teach the most important fundamentals for independent maintenance.

Bicycle repair workshop for children (from 9 years old) - CHF 59.00
Every Wednesday afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm. November to the end of March
Kids get a glimpse into the repair shop, learn about tools, ask questions, and go home with popcorn and a Minimech diploma. Please note: due to a broken wrist, the workshop is not expected to resume before October 2026.

Bicycle repair workshop for FLINTA individuals - CHF 85.00
Every Thursday evening from November - end of March
A welcoming place by and for FLINTA people to learn the basics of bicycle repair and gain practical experience with tools. Please note: due to a broken wrist, the workshop is not expected to take place again until October 2026.

What you can learn

  • How to repair a flat tire
  • Wheel removal, tire and tube removal from rim
  • Repairing an inner tube with patches - Mounting a tire
  • Inflate according to the bar gauge on the tire.
  • Wheel installation - adjusting the brakes and gearshift
  • How to properly oil a chain

  • You don't have to bring a bike, but you may.

  • The two-hour course takes place without parents present. For safety reasons, we will note your phone number, and you will pick up the little bicycle mechanics after the course.

  • All necessary tools are provided by Wheely Pop. You will then have the option to purchase tools from us.
